This is the personal site of Nikola Georgijev, a freelance web developer and technical SEO consultant based in Niš, Serbia. This page explains what data the site collects, why, and what you can do about it. It is written plainly on purpose.
Who is responsible
Nikola Georgijev, Niš, Serbia. You can reach me at hello@nikolageorgijev.com for anything on this page.
What I collect
- When you use the contact form: your name, email address and the message you send. I use these only to reply to you and to discuss a possible project.
- When you allow analytics: anonymous usage data through Google Analytics 4, such as which pages you visit and roughly where you are in the world. This only runs if you accept the cookie banner. See the cookie policy.
- Server logs: my host keeps standard access logs (IP address, browser, time) for security and troubleshooting, as any web host does.
Legal basis
Contact-form data is processed to answer your enquiry, which is your request and my legitimate interest in doing business. Analytics runs only on your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
Who else is involved
I keep the list of third parties short and name them honestly:
- Hostinger hosts the site and handles the email that the contact form sends.
- Google Analytics measures traffic, only after you accept cookies.
- Cal.com handles booking if you schedule a call.
How long I keep it
Contact emails are kept as long as we are in contact about a project and for a reasonable period after, then deleted. Analytics data follows Google Analytics’ own retention settings.
Your rights
You can ask me what data I hold about you, ask me to correct or delete it, or object to how it is used. Email me and I will handle it. If you are in the EU, you also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
